Monthly and yearly reports
MileLedger lets you slice your records by common time periods on iOS, and by year on the web. Period chips on the iOS Summaries screen cover This Year, Last Year, and All Time. The full report sheet adds This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Year, and a custom date range.
Period chips on Summaries (iOS)
Three quick-access chips sit at the top of the Summaries screen: This Year, Last Year, and All Time. Tapping one instantly filters all cards on the screen.
These chips are designed for the most common year-over-year comparison need — e.g., comparing this tax year to last.
Full report sheet (iOS)
Tap the report button on the Summaries screen to open the full report sheet. Here you can select: This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Year, or Custom Range.
Custom Range lets you specify any start and end date — useful for matching a fiscal year, a reimbursement period, or a specific project window.
The full report sheet shows a complete breakdown of business and personal miles, expense totals, and a per-category expense list.
Web reports
The web dashboard at /app/reports currently shows lifetime totals. Download mileledger-export.csv and filter rows by the date column in your spreadsheet application to isolate a specific period.
