What’s the difference between Saved Places and Smart Routes?
Saved Places are pins for places like home or office. Smart Routes are routes you take often, like a commute. If both could apply, Smart Routes win, then Saved Places, then Work Hours.
Saved Places
One location + radius (~120 m). Suggests a category when a drive starts or ends near that spot.
Best for: home, office, warehouse, regular client sites.
Find them in **More → Saved Places**.
Smart Routes
A full route (A→B, or any start → destination), with ~400 m / 0.25 mi matching at the endpoints. Specific routes also match in reverse (A↔B).
Best for: commuting and other trips you repeat the same way.
Find them in **More → Smart Routes**.
Priority
**Smart Route → Saved Place → Work Hours.** Work hours only fill in leftovers that did not match a route or place.
