Free vs Premium — what's included

MileLedger is free to download and use for mileage tracking. The free tier includes unlimited drive recording and cloud sync. Expenses are capped at 10 on the free tier. Premium removes the expense cap and unlocks PDF reports and advanced export presets.

What's free

Unlimited drive recording — automatic and manual drives are never capped, regardless of subscription status.

Up to 10 expenses — you can log up to 10 expense records without upgrading.

Accountant CSV export — the Accountant CSV export preset is available at no charge.

Cloud sync — signed-in users get automatic sync to Firebase at no charge.

Web access — the MileLedger web app at mileledger.com (including CSV download) is free for signed-in users.

All mileage tracking features — automatic detection, manual logging, categorization, vehicles, saved locations, and route history.

What requires Premium

Unlimited expenses — after 10 expenses, adding more requires a Premium subscription.

PDF report export — generating a formatted PDF of your reports requires Premium.

Schedule C style CSV — the Schedule C export preset requires Premium.

Share This Period CSV — the date-range share export preset requires Premium.

What Premium does not change

Drive recording, categorization, and history are identical in both tiers.

Cloud sync is the same for free and Premium users.

The Accountant CSV export remains free for all users even with Premium.
