Appearance and language

MileLedger supports three appearance modes (Automatic, Light, Dark) and four languages: English, Français (French), Español (Spanish), and Deutsch (German). These preferences are stored in the app and sync to your other devices if you are signed in.

Steps

    Open Settings

    Tap More → Settings and scroll to the Preferences section.

    Change appearance

    Tap Appearance and choose Automatic (follows iOS system setting), Light, or Dark. The change applies immediately.

  3. 3

    Change language

    Tap Language and select English, Français, Español, or Deutsch. The app relaunches its UI in the selected language. Some system-level elements (alerts, share sheets) may still appear in your iOS system language.

Expected results

  • The app colour scheme changes immediately when you update appearance.
  • All MileLedger UI text switches to the selected language.

Important notes

  • MileLedger's in-app language setting overrides the iOS system language for the app's own UI. System dialogs, push notifications, and share sheets may still appear in your iOS language.
  • Language and appearance preferences sync across devices when you are signed in.
