How this tool works
Enter each trip in the table. If you provide start and end odometer readings, miles can be inferred when the miles field is empty. Totals update for business, personal, and commute categorizations.
Calculation methodology
Miles per row = entered miles, or end odometer − start odometer when miles are blank and odometer values are present. Category totals sum rows by categorization.
Worked example
A round-trip client meeting logged as two 28-mile business legs totals 56 business miles for that day—before any personal stops you categorize separately.
