Using MileLedger's free web calculators
MileLedger offers twelve free web calculators at /resources/tools. Every tool runs in your browser with no account, no sign-in, and no data sent to our servers. Use them for quick estimates, one-off calculations, or to build documentation you can download.
What the free tools are
The MileLedger free tools are standalone web calculators designed for people who drive for work, run a small business, or need to document expenses. They cover mileage deductions, reimbursements, gas costs, vehicle operating costs, receipt summaries, contractor job profit, and more.
Each tool is available at /resources/tools and can be used independently — you do not need a MileLedger account or the phone app.
How they work
Enter your numbers directly in the browser. The tools calculate results instantly as you type. Where a tool references IRS mileage rates, it uses the official published rates for each period — including mid-year rate changes such as the 2026 business rate change from $0.725 to $0.76 per mile on 1 July 2026.
Results shown are estimates based on the inputs you provide. The tools do not connect to external data sources, and no inputs are saved between sessions — refreshing the page clears your entries.
Downloading results
Several tools let you download results as a CSV file or a formatted PDF. Downloads happen in the browser and are saved to your device — files are never uploaded to MileLedger's servers.
CSV files open in any spreadsheet application (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers). PDFs are formatted for printing or sharing with an accountant or employer.
Important disclaimer
All tools produce estimates only. Results are not tax advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of deductibility. IRS mileage rates are published by the IRS and are subject to change; always verify the current rate at irs.gov before filing. Consult a qualified tax professional for advice specific to your situation.
